Our Humble Beginnings
Anchor of Hope Worship Center was founded by Bishop Glenn and Lady Ava Gamble. Our church was birth out of the vision that God
gave to us.
We started as a local bible study with a core group of 11 individuals which we called “steak and study.” We’re dedicated to helping individuals in Los Angeles, California and the surrounding areas.

Biography
“Bishop Glenn and Lady Ava Gamble were given a Vision by God in 2018 to plant a Church. In January of 2019,
Bishop Glenn and Lady Ava started Anchor of Hope Worship Center Bible Study at a local Denny’s Restaurant in Culver City, California (They called it Steak N’ Study).
Bishop Glenn Gamble was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. After serving six years in the United States Marines, he earned a BS Degree in Business and later a Masters of Divinity from Ministers Training Institute in Inglewood, CA.
Following in the footsteps of his late Father (Elder Jim Gamble) and late Great Grandfather (Elder John Gamble), he answered the Call to serve as Pastor and Church Planter for two Churches. In Houston (Spring) Texas in 2012, The Life of Christ Worship Center and in Baton Rouge, LA, The Regeneration of Christian Faith (The ROC 2014) Worship Center and No Man Left Ministries in 2010.
Lady Ava Gamble was also born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Former California State University Northridge (CSUN) student, who has worked in various fields of Radiology Healthcare for over 30 years. Lady Ava accepted Christ in 1998 and has been pressing towards the Mark of a Higher calling since then (Philippians 3:14),while keeping her eyes to the hills from where all her help comes from, which comes from The Lord(Psalm 121). Lady Ava's Christian experience began in The Pentecostal Apostolic Church.
Bishop Glenn and Lady Ava, after being reunited in 2016, they married in 2018 and blended their family of 10 children (8 boys and 2 girls), along with 7 grandchildren. The Gambles enjoy family and most importantly, serving The Lord Our God.”
